Ignite- "Let light shine out of darkness"

"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ."  2 Corinthians 4:6 NIV

The purpose of our Ignite youth group gatherings is to create hands-on interactive and informal times where christian and non-christian students can experience Christ in a real and personal way in their everyday lives!

You can check out our online calendar.

  • Youth are encouraged to worship with their families during the 8:30 service.
  • There is a middle school and a high school Sunday School class during the 10:15 service. They are located on the North end of the building.
  • Youth are encouraged to worship with their families during the 6 PM service also.

During the school year all middle & high school students are invited to the church from 6:30-8 PM for our Ignite Youth Group.

There are also different events throughout the summer and throughout the year that are not necessarily on "Regular Youth Group Nights"

Youth Group Activties

There are many things we do throughout the year, but here are a couple highlights:

  • Districts youth conference

Every winter we have a group of children (and amazing volunteers) that head to our District's youth conference.  It is a weekend full of worship, fun and learning more about our relationship with Jesus.

  • National Challenge Conference

Every other year we head to the National Youth Challenge Conference. We are headed that way this summer.

  • Missions Trips

We try to go on a trip every other year.  We have gone to New Orleans and we have gone to Guatemala. Our next year to go somewhere is 2021.

  • Bell Ringing for the Salvation army

We like to find ways to show God's love to our community.  Ringing bells is just one way that we have done that.
