Youth at bible efc

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." Colossians 2:6-7

Sundays

Middle & High school students are invited for Sunday school during the 10:15 service. Sunday School will follow the school year schedule and will not meet on Holiday weekends.

**There will not be Sunday School on the first Sunday of the month. This will allow students to attend service and participate in communion, if they are interested.**  We will take a break for the first part of summer.

Wednesdays

Students in 6th through 12th grade are invited each Wednesday, from 6:30-8 PM, during the school year as we learn what it means to be Rooted in Christ and what it looks like to be a Christian. Students are welcome to come for dinner on Wednesdays. We serve from 5-6 PM, and it is a suggested donation of $2 per student. Children can hang out at the church until youth group starts as long as they are respectful.

We have a waiver form that we would like each student to fill out and it does require a guardian's signature.

Watch for the waiver and calendar for the 2024-25 school year.

districts

"The DISTRICTS Youth Conference is held every January with the purpose of bringing youth groups from the Evangelical Free Church of America’s (EFCA) Forest Lakes Districts (FLD) together to grow in their relationship with Christ....

The goal of this conference is to create an environment through large group rallies & seminars where students can experience God together and have adult leaders who can walk alongside of their students as they go home." https://www.districtsyc.com/about

We take a group of 6th-12th grade students each year.  Our registration is available in September. More information will be available at that time.

Other youth events

See You At The Pole

Students are invited to the Tomah Middle School & Tomah High School flag poles on the fourth Wednesday in September for a time to pray together.

Missions Trips

We try to go on a Missions Trip every other year. This summer high school students are headed to the EFCA Youth Challenge Conference.  It is similar to Districts but a week long. We also have a group headed to Guatemala this fall.

Middle School Camping

Students in 6-8th grade head to Devil's Lake for a couple of days of camping, hiking, and time together in the Word. This is usually done the first part of summer.

Youth communication

The primary way that Pastor Ben communicates is through Band.  This is a platform that is similar to Facebook but you need to be accepted into the group.  Pastor Ben only accepts people that he knows are attending youth at Bible EFC. Parents and students are invited to join. This is where he posts announcements and event information, along with pictures.  We put the basic information in the monthly newsletter but Band is the most up-to-date information.
