We are looking for committed followers of Christ who have a passion and love for teaching young children! At Sprouts, we focus on supporting children and families, sharing the love of Jesus by demonstrating Biblical values in all our interactions with each and every student and family member. We are seeking Christ-followers who are passionate about teaching, caring for, and being Godly role models for our students. Due to the importance we place on teaching children, we require our teachers to be active and regular attendees at either Bible EFC or a similarly believing church. Applicants are not required to have prior qualifications in early childhood education, however, all prior experience and certifications will be taken into account in the hiring process.

At Sprouts we have three main categories of staff: Teaching Staff, Assistant Teaching Staff, and Kitchen Staff.

teaching staff
Our Lead Teaching staff are members of our staff that have completed all the required trainings from the state that allow them to act as a lead teacher alone, or cooperatively with another teacher, in a classroom. Interested in becoming a lead teacher but do not have the qualifications? We encourage you to still apply and Sprouts Leadership will help come up with a plan, and provide the training in order for you to become lead qualified!
Asst. teaching staff
Our Assistant Teachers are those who are assist our lead teaching staff in classroom management, lesson plan items, and daily tasks. This role comes with fewer requirements which makes it perfect for those who are not yet ready to be the solo lead in a classroom on their own yet. While there are still some state requirements to complete, if someone does not yet have these trainings we are happy to make a plan and help assistant teachers complete their required items.
kitchen staff
Our kitchen staff are the backbone of our center! These staff help plan menus, keep kitchen inventory, prep, portion, and deliver food to all of our classrooms. These staff also make sure that the kitchen, dishes, and toys sent for cleaning are kept squeaky clean to keep the center healthy and happy!
Sprouts Leadership
Our Sprouts team is led by BEFC's Children's Ministry Director Krishna and Assistant Director Jocelyn. Our Sprouts ministry is overseen by Senior Pastor Neil Nelson and the BEFC Elder Board.
Krishna has been at BEFC as the Children's Ministry Director for over 15 years and ran multiple in-home daycares before then! Krishna has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.
Jocelyn joined the Children's Ministry team in June of 2025 as the Asst. Director. Jocelyn has years of early childhood experience and ran an in-home daycare before coming to Sprouts. Jocelyn has an Associate's Degree and WI Teaching license in Early Childhood Education as well as a certificate in Customer Relations and Communications.

- Able to legally work a W-2 job in the United States of America.
- Able to pass a state caregiver background check & fingerprinting.
- Physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of caring for young children.
